TESTING MACHINES

The machine for testing of biomaterials BMT-20

  • Application strength tests of biomaterials;

Design features

  • Complete set of the specialized accessory for realization of tension, bending, and compression tests of biomaterials;
  • Precision encoder sensors for measurements of  loading rod displacement and sample deformation;
  • Control of the machine with the manual console or by software in fully automatic mode.

  • Maximum test load - 20 kN;
  • Error of load measurements - no more 1 %;
  • Measurement range of sample deformation 15 mm;
  • Resolution of measurements of specimen deformation - 2 m;

Software

The program BiomaTest provides realization of tension, bending and compression tests of samples of biological materials in completely automated mode and carries out such functions:

        Performance of prior operations, parameters input, test conditions settings  in strict sequence which excludes operator mistakes or reduces them to a minimum;

  • Performance of measurements and control of the testing machine under either compression or tensile load;
  • Auto-setting of  the initial force contact (force closure) with a sample;
  • Automatic termination of sample testing by specified criterion;
  • Protection of the measuring sensors and the machine of mechanical overload;
  • Graphic representation of the load-deformation diagrams during test with auto-scaling in real time;
  • Preview and saving the test results and test parameters;
  • Printing of the load-deformation diagrams.
